As an expat living in Palestine, what would you advise the ones about to pack to bring along?
What are the items you can easily find in Palestine? On the other hand, what is less common or quite expensive?
Share with us what you would recommend to bring in one's suitcase or container when moving to Palestine.

Bring up your devices, laptop and mobile. You will find it or can order it, but it will be more expensive.
The internet is slower than US or Europe, though it`s good, 90% of the times.
You`ll rarely find brand stores, but you`ll find most of the famous brands in a collective stores.
It`s not easy to buy by internet, people like to deal in cash or credit cards, and/or face to face.
People are friendly, will try to talk with a foreigner and offer help. Aslo they like to use facebook alot, thus you may use it more than google.
Other than that, like hotels, mobile operators, transportation, food, etc; all are easy to find, specially in city centers. Cities are medium to small, so it won`t be that difficult to know the place and go around in short time.
Compared to Europe Food is more expensive, esp. diary products. Local grown vegetable is cheaper. Wood furniture is much more expensive, as well as light fixtures and electronic articles. Car's are also more expensive.
Still, sometimes it worse to buy a product locally, for example a fridge because the European fridge would not 'survive' is this hot weather.
