My friend told me about her scary feeling when traveling by bus from Luang Prabang to Vientiane. She used to backpack a lot but got dizzy by the curvy roads in Laos. She recommended me take the air plane instead.
Has anyone travelled that way by bus before and is it really scary? To me, it may be an interesting experience that I should take.

Go by bus - the scenery is amazing! I have done it a few times. Back in '98 there was a lot of forest but in 2012 less forest, still beautiful.
The mountains are still there, all the way to Kasi - spectacular - a trip you will never forget.

Use the bus. Best way to see things and get a feel for the country. If you are worried about travel sickness you can get tablets for this.

Thank you. I will travel from VN to Laos by bus too, hope that's not too much. Can't wait to see this nice country.
