Truck Rental / Furnature purchases

Well it looks like we will finally have the first stage of our home built soon. We will be coming down to do finish work and purchase furnishings. It has been a while since we have been on the island and I know businesses change frequently.
When we arrive we will need to rent a truck for lumber, appliances and  furniture purchases where do you recommend renting from . The last time we were there we rented from the little grocery store in West End but I cant seem to find them on line and I don't know if they have trucks.

We will also need mattresses , as soon as we get there. Which stores have them in stock for same day purchase.

Where do your recommend purchasing energy efficient appliances and affordable furniture?

Should we find these things when we get there or have them ordered in advance?

We have been talking with Ace Hardware about having a bulk order prepared for us when we arrive do you think this is needed?
