The fall in the Canadian Dollar certainly impacts us in Belize. Because the Belize dollar is fixed to the US dollar at 2-1 (BZ$ 2.00 = US$ 1.00) and the Canadian dollar fluctuates compared to the US dollar that exchange difference must be made up. In our case as we move CAN$ into Belize they are automatically converted to US$. That exchange rate changes daily and maybe even hourly but as an estimate:
US$ 1000.00 = BZ$ 2000.00
US$ 1000.00 = CAN$ +/- 700.00
$CAN 1000.00 = BZ$ 1400.00
