Language & further education: looking to connect with someone

Hi all,

I am wondering if there is anyone about on this forum who has been in DK, learnt the language and then gone onto further education?

I have been here 2 years, slowly learning the language and have this dream in the back of my mind about going to get a nursing qualification. So basically just looking to connect with anyone who has been through the mighty struggles of first learning the language and then getting on courses etc...

Hi Ellie

I see nobody has answered you. Maybe, because they are bewildered in the same way as I am. Are you primarily interested in hearing about other expats' experience and how they coped with the obstacles they met - or are you interested in practicing the language?

Have you attended a language school? In which area do you live?

I cannot help you with the first issue as I am a native, but maybe I can advise you on the other one.
