Buying a property without water

We're hoping to buy a property near Alora but are beginning to panic about the lack of water. There is no well and no mains water so it has to be transported to the property apparently. Has anyone got experience or advice that can help us ?

Lots of people around here (Pinoso in Alicante) have no mains water and no well. It's obviously more of a faff than having mains but there is no problem with delivery, the price is relatively steep as I understand but nothing excessive (I think a tanker load costs around 60€ but don't quote me on that) and peple seem to get by well enough.

Thank you very much - that's reassuring. We were wondering how the pool gets filled, but presumably the water tanker that delivers?

You can fill your pool by tanker too!
in fact I know some people with mains water that still use tankers as it can some times work out cheaper !
