....and I hope you weren't on Jalan tol to C. Java last night - the traffic was the worst I've ever seen with miles upon miles of standing traffic.
Luckily, I was heading into Jakarta, so I had nothing to contend with.

There are 30,000 cars from Jakarta expected to arrive in Bandung today and tomorrow and the travel time is currently 12 hours. Anyone visiting Bandung should stay well away from Setia Budi, Lembang and Dago areas as these are always the worse. The road through Setia Budi towards Lembang is jammed solid. Jalan Martadinata (Jalan Riau) is also going to be extremely jammed up so be warned anyone coming to Bandung from Jakarta.
