Regulated foreign degree recognition

Hi,
I have more or less all the information to get a foreign (regulated) degree recognized, but I was wondering, is there someone who has already gone through the process that can give me an insight of what it needs to be done, or any suggestions?
As it is an expensive and long process I don't want to make any horrible mistakes, so I would greatly appreciate some extra information.

Which regulated degree?  You should be specific.  Medicine? Dentistry? Structural engineer?

Some services are regulated in some countries and unregulated in others.

but I'm interested in experiences of even other regulated degrees, as it could be a similar process or just to get an idea of the Hungarian system's attitude towards foreign regulated diplomas.

I think you'd have to prove equivalence or even do the same training again or some sort of conversion course.   Courses will need to be accredited.

One of my colleagues spouse was a cancer specialist,  went to the USA and had to do their hospital residency again, despite already being an expert in the field.  Apparently, it was to satisfy the insurers rather than pure academic reasons.  Perhaps the same applies.  On the other hand, one of my relatives is married to a surgeon and they went to Abu Dhabi and started work immediately.  Just depends!

Probably best thing is to contact the HU Vet Association here: Hungarian Vet Association

Thank you. I think I'll just start the process and see what happens.
