Has anyone been through the process of marrying a Vietnamese partner?
I am a British citizen and would appreciate any feedback and or advice.

No problem from the Vietnam side ;all depend from your country rules;you have to travel at least1 or 2 to VN to meet your fiancé;Make a lot of pictures proving your relationship then come back and start the procedure through immigration service;

Thank you for the post. I am a UK citizen and am engaged to a Vietnamese girl. I looked on the internet and information indicated I would need to be a resident in Vietnam in order to marry.
Is this your understanding?

Not at all,my friend you don't need to be a resident;;BUT BEWARE OF girls who promise anything in order to leave;Make sure you 'll get the right one; ps:i am myself Vietnamese !
why don't you go in UK immigration service for infos ?it's more reliable....
