My partner has been offered a job in Abu Dhabi. Some people have said that we need to be married to live together! Is this the case? We do want to get married but not quite yet. Do they allow it if you are engaged?

I am considering relocating from the U.S. I am an Anglo male married to an African American female with children. Of course, racisim exists everywhere--but I was wondering how tolerant Abu Dhabi citizaens were as a whole.

Hi Swift, Yip you'll be fine here, Just that you'll get alot of stares ,especially your wife,
Theres so many different cultures here and if you respect the local customs its o.k ,people stare more out of curiosity if you can live with that, you should be fine.
