Arriving in Milan early January hope to meet some new expat friends

Hi Everyone,

I will be working in Milan as an International Financial Adviser specialising in helping people living in Italy maximise their potential with respect to investments (savings plans, bonds, pensions, etc). Looking to make new expat friends in Italy. I speak some Italian enough to communicate at a basic level.

I am M43, I try to keep fit and healthy and I am half Italian half Scottish, I like to play Golf (ex PGA golfer) and Tennis.

I will probably be moving to the north east area of Milan, just waiting on the company to finish this.

Looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully sharing some valuable advice about living in Milan

Hey! I'll be moving to Milan in January as well. Would you like to meet up? It would be great to make some friends in advance :) I'm from The Netherlands and I currently live in Egypt.
XOXO

Hi

Oh wow same time as me then. I arrive on 4th January and have an apartment in the centre/ north Milan. Where will you be based?

Yeah sure happy to meet new faces.

From Holland thats cool, I am from Scotland. I also use to work in Egypt in 2012-2013. I use to be the manager of Taba Heights Golf Resort in Taba, South Sinai (2 hrs drive from Sharm El Sheikh).

Are you coming to live permanently in Italy and are you coming to work?

Ciao

Adrian

That's great! :) Yes I plan to come there and live permanently or at least for a couple of years. I want to work there but I'm not sure about the name of the area I'll live in yet...

Tabs Heights looks amazing although I didn't get the chance to visit it yet; I've been to Marina, Ain Sokhna, the Pyramids and other places though :)

Do you already have friends in Milan? I'm trying to befriend some in advance :)

Hi

No i don't have friends in Milan yet.

I am sure it will not be as warm as you are used to in Cairo but in March the weather will get warmer. So for now we need to drink lots of coffee and stay warm  :D

Hey! Sorry but I won' be traveling to Milan in January anymore. Hopefully I will in the future. XOXO
