Beware of job cons

Hi for all those looking for extra money or desperate for a job and you see an sdvert that says:

- earns lots of money
- gives no specifics of job
- goes on about teamwork excessively
- "anyone can apply"  eg no mention of experience or qualifications
- looks too good to be true

Despite saying nonsense like "only successful candidates will be contacted" these are usually pyramid selling scams.

We just had one deleted by the moderators.

Always google the employer for fraud. There are many fraudsters out there and they try to look legit!

With the global economy the way it is, job scams are everywhere and will continue to victimize people so desperate to find work that they throw all caution to the wind, and don't take a few simple steps to protect themselves.

The following topic (closed) really is a must read for anyone who gets a job offer of any kind. You must check it out as many ways as you possibly can in order not to fall for a scam.

WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE FALL FOR JOB & VISA SCAMS

Thank you for your info. I just had one experienced yesterday, telling he needed a maid here at KL and at Belgium and in the middle of our conversation I felt that's job offer is too good to be true and the employer is I can say nuisance.
