Hello there imran,

Welcome on board  :)

A new thread has been created from your posts on the Denmark forum so that you may get some hints.

Read the threads under the Working in Denmark section of the forum so that to get some ideas and you may also drop an advert in the Jobs in Denmark section.

All the best,
Bhavna

hi bhavna      thank for kind information .

You can always make a Google search for chauffør + job and see what pops op. It may also be a good idea (maybe even better) to look for jobs other places than Copenhagen.

Here are some links:

You can look for a room here:

You must be aware that it might be very difficult to land a job as you don't master the language.

Dear Nellie,

You are pleased to direct me for the following questions as a residency and settling in Denmark via greencard in 2014 based on new rules of the Labor Organization:
- In my letter of visa 12 months working in 3 years is written. is it changed now based on new rules?
- If the job should be part time or full time? and what is the salary level? There is no any verification about that in my letter of visa.
- If I should get a professional job in my field as an engineer or I can work in any field?
- What are the criteria (job field, full/part time, salary level) for the 4th year extending residency?

Thanks so much for your hint and direction. I only got the following statement from the web site related to my status:

http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_t … scheme.htm
Last update: 10/14/2015
The Greencard scheme
....
It is stated in your latest residence permit letter which requirements you must meet.
Examples of extension situations
....

And I guess my criteria is as an Example 1.

Best regards,

If your GC has been issued before 2015 (example 1), you will not have to meet the income requirements. Actually, I cannot answer your other questions. The new rules (income requirement) were introduced because it had turned out that most of the GC-holders worked with odd jobs as dish washers, cleaning etc. because there weren't jobs enough within their profession. It has never been the intention that highly skilled people should end up in such jobs, neither for their own sake, nor for Denmark's sake.

I am sure that you know more about the rules. I take that there must be some information in your letter? You may send me a pm with some keywords, and I shall see if I can figure out something.

To Ithegenia

Actually, I think your chances for landing a job will be better within the welder profession. Try to make a search on svejser.

I have just read that some companies cannot find metal workes, especially in Jutland. I don't know what MIG welder is. I have seen that there are some ads where they look for TIG welders.

If you need more help, you may send me a pb.

Dear Nellie,

Thanks for your attention and direction.

Unfortunately, changing in the greencard rules are very sensitive and the immigration rules become more complicated considering the world's criteria.

I have some private questions and also need for the directions based on my visa documents, and will be happy to share them with you to know your hint and direction. My email address is: xxx

Please, don't misunderstand my message. I did not intend to be rude, but I now see my answer could be understood this way because it was so brief. I just find it easier to and more practical to have all my correspondance in one place.

There is no any serious problem. You are so polite and your valuable messages and also directions in all of the forums are very efficient. But some information are not general for getting direction and not suitable for sharing.
Thanks so much again for your direction.

Hi Nmtabatabaei
