Anyone live in higuey dominican republic?

Starting a business here can be very difficult, time consuming, expensive and unless you are fluent in Spanish full of deeper pot holes.

You need your residency and Cedula (national id card) to work here legally,

Read, read and then read some more the multiple threads here on starting  a business and general living here. Then come back and ask  your questions.  Lots of good information here.

Louis I am in La Romana, not far from you.   Bob is right, starting a business is not easy and I can help if you need it.   You first need a good idea,  not sure you should discuss good ideas on an open forum.....LOL   You need to incorporate  and set things up properly.  It can be a nightmare.  Understand that you must do things legally  as you will be watched much closer then locals are.
