Hi,

I am living in GCC for more than 15 years. Saudi (yanbu) 3 years, UAE 6 Years, Bahrain 4 Years, Kuwait 1 Year and life moves on.

I plan to shift to Dammam. i have 2 kids (6y,2y).

I have option to work and live in dammam or stay in bahrain (with saudi visa) and work in dammam. i am worried about causeway traffic and family visa issue in bahrain.

I have to look after sales for Bahrain/Dammam and Kuwait.

Kindly shoot your opinions...

That commute is horrible. Just live in Dammam spend your special weekends in Bahrain .

Traffic is a major issue in causeway and in Dammam as well. Can't you live in Khobar it is much nicer than Dammam and you can visit Bahrain on weekends.

Cheaper flats in Dammam but its a dead city...

Costlier flats in Khobar but a better place than Dammam and 30 mins drive to Bahrain...

Khobar would be easier access to both Kuwait and Bahrain...

Saudi visa is more precious in the long term for your kids etc..
