Hello,

I currently reside in Atlanta GA. I am considering moving to Punta Cana for the winter months (Jan-Mar). I have found a couple of descent Internet sites for rentals. Can someone help me answer some basic questions:

1. Anyone have any contacts for House/Apt rentals in Punta Cana area?

2. Are there any areas or neighborhoods to stay away from in Punta Cana area?

3. I can run my business from any place there is a good internet connection. What kind of internet access is available now in Punta Cana? DSL, Cable Modem , etc

Hi,
It really depends what you want for an apt.
There are several places close to El Cortecito: Los corales, El Dorado, Cocotal...It's a safe area and you can check rentals on the internet.
For a 1 bdrm $400-500, 2 bdrms $600-700 is average.
