Hi all, I'm new to this community and would love to be more involved as I will be working in Vietnam in the next few months.
I know this question has been raised many times but please be nice to me. I have been digging the internet for the last 72 hours about notarized diplomas and other documents but I'm still very confused. Here is what I found, can anyone help me confirm this?
Documents to be notarized/apostilled:
- Bachelor's Diploma apostilled by Secretary of State. Some sources say only it need notarized, some say to get it apostilled, while others say to get it apostilled AND authenticated through Department of Authentication - is this even necessary? In addition about going through the Vietnamese Embassy in the States for what purpose?
- Criminal records notarized??? Can a banker do this?
- TEFL Certificate notarized. Some say you can get it notarized in Vietnam some say you no longer can? If not I can just pay an additional fee to get my TEFL certificate notarized by the school itself ($20 extra).
Thanks for all input!
