I have been asked by my employer to take my Criminal Clearance Check to the Chinese embassy in London for formal verification and papers required for my employer to apply for the foreign workers permit. Is this the correct procedure? I have emailed the Chinese embassy several times with no response.

Will the Chinese Embassy accept the No Criminal Record document as is or will they ask for a notarised translation into Chinese?
