Nice hotel in sepha?

Hi expats
Can anyone recommend a nice 4-5 star hotel for an overnight stay at Sepha/Sebha? After several web searches we decided to rely on your wisdom and experiences :-)...
thanks

I'm afraid you'll have to drop your standards if you are going to Sebha. A Libyan 3 star is the best you can hope for.

There really is no "to recommend" in Sabha. You just take what you got.

Here is the coordinates to a hotel/motel (called Fezzan) that was popular among south european tourists in the 90's:
27° 2'35.81"N  14°25'32.61"E

There is also a place out of town on top of a hill--clean air and an excellent sprint up (you may also climb the unpaved, rocky side for more upperbody involvement). I have no idea how the rooms are. It's called Funduq AlJabal (The mountain's Hotel)
26°56'42"N   14°28'5"E

It's rated as 2-star

I'm sure you can find Fezzan Hotel's phone # on google.

Edit: got numbers

This link will give you pictures of all the hotels in Sebha.  The home hotel/university hotel is the newest of them all.

Thanks, this is fairly useful since it gives an idea about the hotels which do not look bad at all (BTW, I heard that there is a new five star hotel in Sepha). However, no phone numbers, no contact information of the hotels themselves except the travel agency itself. Maybe that is the way to go; through the agency. Thanks indeed. I'll follow this lead.
