This depends what you are looking for?
There are resorts in north Jeddah (Obhur or Durrat ul Uroos), but those are damn expensive during holidays, u need to check. If you love to drive outside, nearby places are Al-Hada / Ash Shafa (In Taif region). You go to South of Jeddah, you will be "enjoying" beaches, but as mentioned earlier, depends! what you are looking for? ex. I am into photography & you can see some nice places within 400-600KM around Jeddah, check my website.
Inside city you will find some activities, which may attract you (Shopping malls etc.). Have a good week off
