North Cyprus is for sure "oriantal oriented".
The fact that 200.000 settlers were sent from Turkey to Cyprus influenced a lot the fact that, exepted landscape, you feel like you are in Turkey.

This is very poor country, people are so poor however, life is somehow expensive in terms of food and transportation, lot of rich Turkish people come here for vacations, lot of foreigners as well, I can only see Casinos everywhere as if I am in Las Vegas!!!
I have a friend living here from UK, I think you can get a house so cheap specially by the sea.

Hello Steven. Life in North Cyprus is generally peaceful, and great if you don't need to work. There are few jobs available unless you have a specialist skill or qualification. As Shero says property is cheap and if you can afford to do nothing living there can be bliss!

It depends on where your from exactly, as a Nigerian if your coming here expecting to get a decent job you'll be disappointed, if you dont have enough money i dont advise you should come here, you could easily get swindled here as a black man and nothing would happen, dont come here if your African, for holidays Cyprus isnt bad, but dont come here for more than a week or two, you'll ultimately regret it, try other countries, Cyprus isnt worth the struggle.
