Good morning everyone, I have to go to khobar in the next few days and I was wondering if there is anywhere I can shop for traditional rugs and Saudi Arabian gifts/trinkets. I want to take something of cultural value back home when I visit.

Three things to take back with you. Palm dates, arabic oud and arabic wooden incense. And two of the above you could find in Seiko area Dammam. For dates my preferred store is called Arabian dates and is locatef right opposite Saudi Hollandi bank.

I think i have seen a shop in Rashid Mall. Cant be sure. But there are no traditional rugs I think. They are a persian speciality.
