There are plenty of lands for a foreign investors you can start from the Ethiopian investment office. I am involved in agro industry myself if you are looking for local partner we can always discuss.

getting land in ethiopia is not a big thing, as long you know what you want to do. leagly you are free to do on yourself, a local partner is not needed and most difficult to find or more difficult then fining the land. the investment authoreties will for sure help, but I can recomend to work other way round. find the best land from the growing aspects, maybe 2 to 3 location and then tell them you want the land.
