John its a relatively easy process. Completed at your local Department of Land Transport Office.

Strictly speaking you need to be here on a Non Imm visa i.e. not tourist. But I have heard of folk on TV getting a 1 year temporary licence. As with most things here it depends on the DLT office and the officer you deal with.
