Expats can own leaseholds in Uganda of up to 99 years.
However, if anyone is interested, there is up to 3000 acres up for lease in Northern Uganda with fertile soils that do not need irrigation, no trees or rock which makes it excellent for mechanised agriculture. It is flat savannah grassland.
