Hey guys and girls,

I need to know information about how can I get a job in Malaysia. I am a Java web developer, worked in the US for 2.5 years and returned to India but willing to work in Malaysia. Pretty much no idea, so want to know if I can come on a visit and change my visa to work? Or apply for a work visa from India and come to Malaysia?

And any other information you think is useful to me would be greatly appreciated!

Why come to Malaysia?

I ask as we get so many requests like this yet Malaysia is very expensive to live in, Indians are underpaid in IT (seriously bad) the RM is low against the dollar making these salaries chicken feed and getting a work permit/job is relatively hard.

So why????

You need a job to get a work permit and not so hard in IT but unless you get paid 12k being single or 15k married + 5k per kid forget it (especially with RM falling) as often you will be better off in India and certainly better off in USA.
