Hey Everyone,
I was wondering if anybody here had traveled to Kep from Ho Chi Minh City. I am thinking of doing the trip next week and was hoping to avoid Phnom Penh. Anyways, if you could voice any suggestions based off your experiences that would be great. Thanks.

You can take a bus to the Ha Tien border then a van to Kep

Oh wow. Do you know when the buses and vans leave? And if it's possible to do in one go without needing to spend the night in Ha Tien? And is the Ha Tien border open to foreigners now? I heard it didn't used to be.

Don't know the bus schedule but you can go to any travel agent. I came from kampot on that route the end of may and no problem at the border. If you have to stay in Ha Tien, I paid 10.00 for a room so not expensive

Do you remember how much you paid for the van/tuk tuk/ bus from Kampot to Ha Tien? And Ha Tien to HCMC?

I think the total cost was around $25.00. You should check a travel agent in Saigon
