I have just started the process of apply for a Z Visa and would like to know on average how long it takes to be processed?

It takes about 1- 3 days depending on your documents. In my case, I applied in Thailand at 09:00 and got back my passport and Z visa at 14:30.
Hope you will have a smooth transition when you move here in China.

I got it in Hong Kong, and by paying extra, it took 24 hours. Otherwise it'd have taken 2-3 working days.

Hey,
It depends on your pocket. If you pay 100$ it take 4-5 work day or if you pay 130 it is access in 2 day.
