It is not banned. You can import. The taxes are high.

I think you will pay luxery tax 115-125% on importet cars wheather they are new or old, but I am not sure.

The tax is a total of 115%
which is a compounded total derived from 45% import duty, 35% excise tax, 10% value added tax.
