USD if you have them, but INR can be exchanged. If you get the MYR for a good rate, then bring them. They are not always available overseas. USD-MYR is trading at around 4 at the moment.

1. I would bring USD and the reason is that exchange rates for RM outside the region are very unfavorable, especially when you return with it later. Also, when here you can easily exchange for any other currency and what then if you are too heavy in RM? Just use USD and exchange $100 at a time.
2. Bring all 100s, small bills cant be exchanged easily. The few places that will exchange a 10 or 20 will charge a premium.
3. At the end of a trip, dump all RM and re-exchange to USD. Also, dont return with any coins, they have no value. That goes for travels around Asia too. Get rid of all coins before leaving "X" country unless you want them as souvenirs.
