Bahia chiropractors?

I was ata  coffee shop called Goza a couple weeks ago and I talked to an expat from Canada who was a chiropractor and had recently opened an office at the bottom of one of the apartments in Gringolandia.  He said the government was trying to shut him down because the profession wasn't recognized in Ecuador. You have to have a medical degree to practice it apparently.

Same thing happened to some acupuncturists. They had opened up a business here called the Oriental Healing Center, but ultimately had to shut down and they went to some other country where they could practice it.

Of course it wouldn't surprise me if there was somebody retired up in Bahia doing it out of their home.
