Hi All,

I'm Stacey, and I'm a high school English teacher from New Zealand. I spent two months over December/January travelling around Europe, and would love to come back to spend a year or so in Germany.

Has anyone got any tips/advice/cautionary tales/anything that would help me out?

I'm enrolled in intensive German classes for a year which I would highly recommend. It's 5 days a week from 8:30 to 1:00, plus homework, but I'm learning a lot of German and meeting really interesting people. If you're looking to teach, I know there are opportunities at the international schools but they tend to do their hiring before the start of the school semester. Hope you enjoy your time here.
