Hi,

We would like to talk about a sensitive but important topic: do you feel safe in Macau?

How would you define the level of safety in the country?

Can you walk safely during the day and at night without any fear?

Do you think there is a high rate of criminality, social problems or tensions?

How would you define the level of safety in the country?
Macau is a very safe region, you will not be mugged or disturbed. The only issue might be house burglary and even those are directed at money jewelry not house appliances. The occasional pick-pocket exist.

Can you walk safely during the day and at night without any fear?
It is a safe environment.

Do you think there is a high rate of criminality, social problems or tensions?
It is a multi-cultural town, there are isolated cases of racial discrimination.

Share with us your insight on safety in Macau and in the city you live in.
I am Portuguese, from Lisbon. Lisbon is much more dangerous city to live at.
