- VISAGE Movement Theatre
The theatre was founded in 1982 as an ensemble of modern choreography. Since 2003 we have been working as an integrated company that is we unite children and young people with disabilities, their peers and professional dancers.
At present the group unites about forty people. More than twenty of them are young people with physical and mental disabilities: moving on wheelchairs, deaf-and-dumb, having cerebral spastic infantile paralysis, oligophrenia, Down's syndrome, with various disorders of support-locomotion system, visually impaired.

My name is Viola, the director of the ORIGINAL Club of Spoken English Tashkent.
Every first Sunday of a month the Club members and everyone who needs to improve their Spoken English, hike in the mountains in order to speak just English far from Russian & Uzbek environment, find new friends, enjoy the nature!
For native speakers participation in English hikes is free of charge.
A train ticket costs 1100 soum. And everyone takes some snack to eat in a train and on a picnic.

- Silk Road Hash House Harriers. http://hash.tashkent-events.info.
Our Hash group is not the typical noisy, rowdy and ritualistic HHH gathering. We respect the local cultural norms and we welcome families with children. Our walk is usually 1 hour to 1.5 hours in duration and we try to visit a different part of the City each week. Runners are welcome. Due to local police regulations the route is not marked so please make sure you know where the end point will be or keep the leaders in sight. The Tashkent Hash run/walk is scheduled for each Sunday (rain, snow or shine) starting at 15:00 hours (Dec, Jan, Feb);16:00 hours (Mar, Apr, May, Sep, Oct, Nov and 17:00 hours (Jun, Jul, Aug). Meeting place: Tour bus parking lot on right side of Hotel Uzbekistan. We promptly depart from the meeting place at 15 minutes past the hour (15:15, 16:15, 17:15).
More details will be sent in each week's Tashkent Events and Hash newsletters. Participation costs: Metro tokens and No Host drinks and food at the end of the walk. Come join the fun, fresh air, social interaction and practice your language skills. We are an international group of foreigners and locals. Dress casually and wear comfortable shoes.
