The best thing to do during the weekend, IMO, is to enjoy the beach of course! 
I also like the new Lion Club on tran hung dao on a saturday night. I take my niece to the old airport so she can fly a kite with the rest of the kids.

Oh... there is also a water puppet theatre that has evening shows, something that you may enjoy.
