If you look at the breakfast spread in 5 star hotels, the varieties of food is wide - western; Japanese and Chinese.
You don't get these in Europe and if you do the price will kill you. Besides the variety is much less though there are many different types of bread and cheese.
Thailand is wonderful for wide range of food for breakfast; lunch and dinner in 5 star hotels and prices is great.
If you are outside Bangkok and weather is cool, great to have a breakfast feast in the garden.
