Dear all,
I have been offered a specialist job as Microbiologist at HMG, Riyadh.I want to know can I come alone and yet have a life there if not put up in so called ''COMPOUND" I am worried about working conditions at hospital and social lfe in Riyadh.Pls shed some light.Thank you.

Social life is good here if you have good friends and people tend to meet in weekends.
you can also check on net or visit Riyadh forum. Women can't drive here so you have depend on Taxi or your hospital can provide transportation to you, compounds are expensive mostly starting from SR 100,000 plus per annum.
better go for hospital accommodation.

Just a kind note : Before opting for Hospital Accommodation just check if they have any restrictions about your movement after working hours. Most of the hospitals they have restrictions on letting their women staff out of accommodation after working hours.
