google the term "event management company", there is one that is on the tip of my tongue, its like CAMCO or something, or go to hawally opposite muhallab center (the big boat), if you stand with your back to it, look to your right, you'll find a sound shop, wouldnt hurt to ask there, and since you would be in the area, check out nazaer too. im sure they can direct you to someone.

@Legacy I think what you're talking about is ROMCO in Bayrut street. Yes they have instruments and equipment but I believe @sajidaj is asking for a bit more than that.
Just look around in the area there are other companies.
