Moving to Ecuador

If someone can help me with information the cost of living as rent, food in the city of Loja or Cuenca in Ecuador, I have six hundred US dollars a month, I thank the imformação.Eu am Brazilian and I am well inclined to move to this country.

Salem Sue is correct, but perhaps it needs an explanation.

$800 for an individual plus $100 per dependent is the mínimum fixed or pension income that the foreign ministry will accept for granting a pensioner residency visa.  This is monthly assured income such as Social Security or pension payments.

Another way to operate is to become a 'snowbird' who lives in Ecuador on non-immigrant visas up to nine months a year and spends the other three months elsewhere -- Florida, Peru or wherever.
