hi what do mean braving the move,i left the uk1988 sold my house and there was no going back arrived in spain no job no home couldnt speak the language and no work,and that was at 55 years old ,today at 83 ,never regretted it ,wish id had done it earlier

Interesting. As I do a little light journalism (I'm rubbish at it), I'm game to have a go.
Background - I left the UK when I got married, but had no clue about the country I intended to stay in.
A wild ride with a million mistakes later, and I'm settled in a foreign country.
