Hi,
I am looking to visit Kampot in July for approximately 3 months long service leave or maybe more, I may decide not to return home to Australia .

My plan is to stay in a guest house for a week or two, then find a small apartment.

Is this a reasonable plan?

Can someone recommend a guesthouse in town, please?

Is it hard to find short term rentals?

I am a project manager, but am willing to give anything a go, would it be hard to find work. I would be happy to volunteer for a bit?

I hope it is ok to ask this here, please delete if I am breaking any rules.

There is a variety of guesthouses. The one I can recommend is Natural Bungalows, located by the riverfront down town. Check it out!

Not somewhere a normal Australian sex pot would settle if you want action
Apart from a few expats bars;
To me it's a Cambodian village on the mouth of a river situated between Sikouville
and the old French resort town of Kep
Very very local Cambodian people without being rude;
Look at kep or Siem Reap
