I have just moved to Alkhoud, Muscat.

Want to buy all the household furniture.

Please guide.
- Whether used furniture is available?
- Tips about purchasing new one at reasonable price; etc

Hi Dheerajg,

I am not so sure about your side of town, but on the opposite direction, there are numerous used furniture shops.

Most are concentrated in Muttrah and in Al Hamriya.

If you want to buy new furniture, again numerous options are available. Home Centre, Fahmy Furniture, Khimji's Furniture, Golden Furniture, Pan Furniture are some places you can visit. All are located in and around Al Khuwair.

Regarding the "tips" you have asked for, wait until they announce the "Sale". Some good discounts would be on offer.
