Does anyone here have T1 or T2 diabetes?

Does anyone here in this forum have T1 or T2 diabetes?

I am doing a bit of research on how people manage these conditions in Hungary.

If T1 or T2, then please send me a personal PM.

Thanks in advance.

From the paramedic side: A lot of people manage it quite poorly :-/
Somewhere behind drunk bum calls in frequency they get the "great white wizard" calls, where the patient is unconscious or delusional and is instantly, miraculously  healed by the IV line with glucose/insulin...

Yes, the difference between drunk and hypoglycemia (low blood glucose) is hard for cops and the public to know. People die all the time because it's unrecognised.

I am interested in what kind of advice is given to diabetics in the HUNGARIAN public health service and what kind of managed care or regular monitoring is provided.

I do not mean information provided on the Internet - I'm talking about advice given by medical professionals.

Any insights or anecdotal information appreciated.

Thanks.
