Hi,
I need some information regarding where to visit / a tour guide/ how best to experience the Amazons/ decent place to stay in, etc . I have a friend whoes hoping to spend 3 days there and wants to make the best of them. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. He's coming around 2 july, 2015.

It's been 12 years since I have been in Amazonas so I can't recommend anybody. Hopefully our member JohnC in Manaus might be able to do some research for you on the subject of tour guides. I have sent him a private message with a link to this topic to request that he look at your request and possibly offer you some information.
