Moving to Belize from USA

2) Someone on this site may chime in in regards to a rental. You may have to find a hotel that accepts pets and then look around once you are in Belize.
3) Valid passport. Assuming you are American citizens. You will need to get visa extensions every 30 days at an immigration office in your district.
4) Quite a few shipping companies - depends on where you ship from and what you are shipping.
5) Wifi widely available with local communication companies BTL and Smart and cable companies.
6) Lots of used cars available. 4 or 5 car dealerships if you opt for a new vehicle. Buses run throughout the country. More frequently on main routes and between bigger centres. Taxis are relatively cheap. Two local airlines have airstrips in all districts.
7) Atlantic Bank, Scotiabank, Belize Bank and a couple more. Some have offshore options. It's getting increasingly more difficult for foreigners to open local bank accounts.
8) Medical Associates and Health Care Partners are two private hospitals in Belize City. Both have web sites. Local hospitals in all districts.
