My wife's job visa is under process and as per the information from the PRO it should be ready within 10-15 days.. So for a person who is currently on a family visa, what are the procedures for them to get it transferred to an employment visa... Will she have to exit the country or an NOC is reqd frm my sponsor so that she need not exit??? Pls clarify

The usual system practiced is the spouse would have to cancel the existing visa, exit the Sultanate and re enter on the new employment visa. But there are exceptions too.
Speak with your employer / PRO whether a visa transfer can be possible.
