Hi all, I am Emily and looking for advice on moving from Northern England to alicante later in the year with my husband and 2 daughters (5 and 2).
I am a qualified veterinary nurse and my husband is a chef by trade.
Any advice on schooling, employment and renting in or around alicante would be appreciated. Looking for somewhere quiet, not fussed about being to close to the coast and somewhere that is accepting of British expats.

Hi Emily,

Your children are at a good age to pick up Spanish ( my daughter was 4 when we moved over 12 years ago ) she is fluent and has no English accent , unlike us !

The work situation isn't to good here I am afraid but you and your husband have good professions so you might be lucky !

Ex pats love their pets ! and you being English speaking would be an advantage
