Medical problem

Assalaamolaikum.
Hope u r fine and would be enjoying ur life to the fullest. I have a question that there's a friend of mine, He's from Ranchi (Jharkhand) and he's been working with me since January 2014. His Iqaama is going to get expired in the month of march 2015.
H recently came back from vacation and is suspecting that he is sick and would fail the medical for his previous Iqaama renewal. I just wanted to know, what if, something worse happens and he fails the medical? Will the company keep him or send him back?
For suppose if the company wants to send him back, will he be banned from coming to Saudi again or going to some other GCC country?
As per you what are the steps to be taken of, if the company wants to send him back ?
