Ansan, Gyeonggido... city with many waygookins

officetel rent is about 450,000won per month
subway is about 1,200won per trip
eating at a korean restaurant- about 5,000won per meal
doctor visit with insurance- about 5,000won
cell phone- about 75,000won per month

I have a studio apartmemt with a balacony. its 550,000₩ a month with about 6,000,000₩ Deposit that is retunred when i move out. if you are an english teacher your job will probably pay your deposit and possibly some if not all of your rent.

transportation including taxis - 80,000₩ a month

doctors visits - maybe 10,000₩ including prescription meds.

I pay 2,000₩ for my daily cup of coffee you can find coffee at anyprice though depending on the shop. Ive seen the same cup of coffe i by 2,000 sold for 6,000 at fancy stores.

my cell phone bill is about 90,000₩ but...i didnt pay for my phone i pay for it in monthly installments. galxy note 3 (700,000₩) paid for monthly over 2 years. i walked out the store without paying anything.

a good tradional meal is about 5,000-6,000

gas bill in the winter 90,000 (i like it warm) in the summer 20,000
electric 10,000
water 3,00

a night out...this includes enough drinks to get you "in the mood" dinner, activies (noraebang, club, etc..) and a taxi home
Gangnam 50,000₩++
itaewon,jongno, daehakro 30,000₩+
shinchon/ hongdae, yeongdeungpqo,  15,000+

but you can easily spend hundreds of dollars anywhere in this city in any neighborhood if you want to be fancy....
