I went there in September of 2015. I don't know much about accomodation as we stayed in a village.
Bus prices, about 100vt -150vt ($1.25-$2) in port Vila per person per trip. If you want a larger white bus that you can ask to pick you up at a certain place and time about 200vt (&2.50) per person, per trip.
I believe phone are cheap compared to Australia. They used to be expensive because there was only 1 phone company in Vanuatu. But there are now 2 companies they are fighting a price battle. I got a sim for 200vt for 7days with free Facebook and good value of texts and calls.
But otherwise I don't know much about the rest of it.
